The new Samsung Galaxy Note II launched in India


Samsung’s second Smartphone-tablet Galaxy Note II as a hybrid device has recently launched in India. This handset will be available starting from the next week in the Indian market having a price tag Rs. 39,900. Before this, the device got launched in its home town. This device carries the similar feature as on Samsung Galaxy S III and the original Note. It brings a 5.5” (1280 x 720) resolution HD Super AMOLED Display which is bigger than that of the existing Galaxy Note rather than a 5.3” screen. a faster 1.6GHz Exynos quad-core CPU and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. In order to ensure a better grip, its S Pen has got some enhancements like it is wider, longer, and ergonomically designed. other features suitable for the S Pen are such as Easy Clip, Air View, Idea Visualizer, &Paper Artist. The Samsung Galaxy Note II carries a 5.5 “ Touch-sensitive Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that resembles the other display features are such as 16M display colors and 720 x 1280 pixels display resolution. Other display features are such as 267 ppi pixel density, Multitouch functionality, protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and TouchWiz UI.
The device is equipped with an 8 MP rear-facing primary camera that resembles 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution while other camera features are LED flash, autofocus, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face, image stabilization, video recording at 1080p@30fps as well as carries a secondary camera of 1.9MP for video calling & face to face chat. Additionally, the device runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS along with the Chipset being an Exynos 4412 Quad. It powered with a Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 Processor.
Apart from these, the device is equipped with GPU Mali-400MP as its Graphics and the sensors are such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer. This device other usual features are such as Stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS, Java via Java MIDP emulator, S Pen stylus, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, compatible with TV-out (via MHL A/V link), SNS integration, etc.
This hybrid Smartphone supports MP4/DivX/XviD/WMV/H.264/H.263 player & MP3/WAV/eAAC+/AC3/FLAC player, etc. The device is accorded with a microSD card slot that supports up to 32 GB and the internal storage of 16/32/64 GB along with 2 GB RAM. Other connectivity options, this phoneblet is offered with GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps; LTE, Cat3, 50 Mbps UL, 100 Mbps DL, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA, Direct Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, EDR connectivity, NFC support along with microUSB v2.0 (MHL) connector and USB On the go.
The rest of the included features are such as Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) Organizer, Image/video editor, Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, Maps, YouTube, Calendar, Picasa integration, Voice memo/dial/commands, Predictive text input (Swype) and this device empowered with a Li-Ion 3100 mAh. The device measures 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm and the weight is of 180 g.
