The AT&T offering LG Optimus G world first LTE-enabled quad-core Smartphone


The new flagship smartphone  LG Optimus G. This smartphone officially announced for AT&T & Sprint in the US. It is the world’s first LTE-enabled smartphone that features Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, is claimed as one of the fastest phones in the market that packs the most powerful features. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS (update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean later). This flagship device carries 1.5GHz Processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable  memory. the details related to the specs discussed ahead.

The Optimus G flagship smartphone is built with a 4.7 True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M display colors that resembles of 768 x 1280 pixels HD display resolution with ~318 ppi pixel density. It comes powered with Qualcomm MDM9615/APQ8064 Chipset and the processor is a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait Processor. Coming with Crystal Reflection glass finish, other features are Bluetooth 4.0, Dual Screen Dual Play, Live Zooming, QickMemo, and a MicroSD memory card slot.
The device runs on Android v4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS which is upgradable to v4.1.1. In terms of the storage features the device packs 2GB of RAM along with Adreno 320 GPU. Its display will facilitate for Multitouch functionality and the sensors equipped in the device are such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass. Additionally, the connectivity options which has been offered are such as Speed HSDPA, HSUPA, LTE, WLAN as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Direct Wi-Fi, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR, microUSB v2.0.
It is also comes with the sound alert facilities lie MP3, WAV ringtones, Loudspeaker, 3.5mm jack. Apart from these, the device has a Memory Card slot supporting microSD card up to 32 GB. The camera which is equipped in the original version is a 13 MP primary camera resolution of 4320 x 3240 pixels and the other camera features are such as LED flash, autofocus, Geo-tagging, image stabilization, face &  detection, Video recording 1080p@30fps with LED video light. It also has a Secondary camera of 1.3MP for video calling & face to face chating. There is an 8MP rear-facing camera for the AT&T version, while the Sprint one brings the same 13MP camaera, along with 1.3MP front-facing camera.

The other value added features are Adobe Flash, HTML Browser, GPS with A-GPS support, Java via Java MIDP emulator, SNS integration, TDMB TV tunner, TV-out (via MHL A/V link), Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Google Search, Gmail, Youtube, Maps, and lots more others. This device empower  a Li-Ion 2150 mAh that facilitates for Stand-by as up to 250 & a Talk time of up to 10 h. This smartphone comes in Crystal Reflection glass finish and brings Dual Screen Dual Play, Live Zooming, QickMemo, It measures 131.9 x 68.9 x 8.5 mm and the weight is of 145 g.
