T-Mobile USA has recently made the flagship Android
smartphone named as the LG Optimus L9. This handset is set to be available
starting from this fall but there is yet no word on its price. As per the press
release, the design of this L-Series handset is packed with five primary
aesthetic elements which unite a Modern Square Style, Floating Mass Technology
for which it gets a slimmer look, flawless Layout with a more intuitive
arrangement of keys, Harmonized Design Contrast with the use of metallic accent
along with a Sensuous Slim Shape. This T-Mobile device is accorded with the
specs similar to that of the international version of the Optimus L9 but in
terms of the screen size the device differs with a comparatively smaller

The T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 is built with a 4.5” IPS
capacitive touchscreen display rather than the 4.7” one in the international
version of Optimus L9. The rest of the other features remaining unchanged packs
a 1GHz dual-core CPU along with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich OS. This handset comes paired with the company’s UX user interface
while its launch. It comes equipped with a 5 MP rear facing primary camera that
carries of 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution. While the other camera features are
as LED flash, autofocus, Geo-tagging, touch focus, Video 1080p@30fps and a VGA
secondary camera for face-to-face chating.
The device is offered lots of connectivity options as GPRS
Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 – 48 kbps, EDGE Class 12, Speed of HSDPA,
21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps and is facilitated with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi
Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, NFC support, microUSB
v2.0 connector. It will also carry the Qtranslator app, which will help the
user to translate text from 44 different languages with the use of Optical
Character Recognition technology. The storage features are as 1GB DDR2 (RAM) /
4GB e-MMC.
It also packs SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email,
Push Email, IM, HTML5 Browser, Adobe Flash, GPS with A-GPS support, Java via
Java MIDP emulator, SNS integration, HDMI port, Active noise cancellation with
dedicated mic, supports DivX/Xvid/MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player with
MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player, etc. Other additional features are such as Document
editor, Organizer, Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, Maps, YouTube, Voice
memo/dial/commands and Predictive text input. It is empowered with a 2,150mAh SiO+ and the
other features which will be seen are such as DLNA, QMemo & lots more
others.
