Acer launching a 7-inch
Android Tablet the Acer Iconia Tab A110
and this device comes with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. The
device got revealed back in early June but runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich OS. The A110 is powered with Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and is
accorded with 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, 7-inch touchscreen display
having 1024 x 600 pixels display resolution. It also carries a 2MP front camera
for video calling & face-to-face
chating. Other specifications and price range of the device discussed ahead.
The Acer Iconia Tab A110 is accorded with many of the common
features like micro HDMI and MicroSD card support, etc. In addition this tablet
also carries microUSB port. It comes built with a 7.0” Capacitive Multi-touch
Touchscreen display that resembles of 1024 x 600 pixels display resolution and density
of 170 ppi and is equipped with the sensors as Light sensor, Proximity sensor.
The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by Quad core, 1200
MHz Processor.
This tablet comes featured with a 5 megapixels rear-facing
primary camera that brings lighting as well as carries a 2-megapixel
front-facing camera. The tablet also brings an orientation sensor, a digital
compass, offered with 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of internal memory storage as
well as carries a microSD, microSDHC cards so that the storage capacity can be
expanded up to 32 GB. It is empowered with a 3420 mAh battery, measures 7.68 x
4.61 x 0.52 (196 x 126.5 x 11.4 mm) and has a weight 13.05 oz (370 g).
Other additional features are such as Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, HDMI and MicroUSB ports as its connectors. The device also
comes embedded with NVIDIA Tegra 3 Chipset, Built-in online services support
like Facebook, YouTube (upload), and Twitter. Apart from these, the device also
brings the other specs like accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Music ringtones
(MP3), Speakerphone, Browser supports of HTML, HTML5, XHTML, Flash. The Company
has not mentioned anything on its price or availability on the market. Ebuyer
has started taking pre-order of the Iconia Tab A110 in the UK, with a price of
£179.98 (around €224 or $290)
